We offer a wide range of plate identification and tracking options, including direct printing technology and applied labels. Options include standard linear barcodes, 2D Data Matrix codes, custom graphics, and formatted text.
Our standard format is a 10 digit alphanumeric code. The barcode is centered on sidewall of plate. We use Code 128 as our default symbology, as it is compatible with most barcode readers. (Other symbologies are available with our Custom Barcode options, see below) We include the human readable code printed to the right of the barcodes. We guarantee unique codes, however we do not guarantee sequential numbers. We apply an additional label to each product box confirming that it has been barcoded and we specify first and last sequence number of each box.

We offer a wide range of plate labelling services, including directly printing on the sidewall or top surface of each plate. We can print linear barcodes, 2D Data Matrix codes, logos, other graphics, and formatted text. We can even print a unique 2D code on each tab of our ReLoad PCR Tube Strip product line.
